How to Replace the Interior Light Bulb on an Over the Range KitchenAid Microwave
The cavity or interior light should come on when the door is opened or the microwave is operating. If the display is on and the microwave is operating, the light bulb might need to be replaced.

To Replace the Light Bulb:
The cavity light bulb is located behind the vent grille at the top front of the microwave oven, under the bulb cover.
- Unplug the Microwave or disconnect power.
- Remove the two screws on the top of the vent grille, tilt the grille forward, and lift it out
- Open bulb cover and replace bulb with an incandescent style light bulb.
- Close bulb cover, replace vent grille, and secure with screws at the top of the vent grille.
IMPORTANT: Use only an incandescent light bulb as a replacement. Do not use an LED light bulb.
