How to Sharpen KitchenAid® Knives
To maintain maximum performance, knives should be sharpened periodically.
- Pull knives through the built-in diamond sharpener with slight downward pressure
- Repeat until desired sharpness is achieved.
Cleaning the Sharpener
- The built-in sharpener can be cleaned with mild soap and water.
- The sharpening wheel can be replaced if worn out.
NOTE: Knives with serrated edges must be professionally sharpened.
