Glass Bowl Tips for Tilt Head Models
Tips for using Glass Bowl for KitchenAid Tilt-Head Models
Compatible with all 4.5 and 5-quart stand mixers except the KN15E1X (Accolade Series).
Before Using
- Your Stand Mixer is individually adjusted at the factory for optimal performance. When using the Glass Bowl, it may be necessary to readjust the Beater to Bowl clearance.
- Ensure the Thread Ring on the bottom of the Glass Bowl is tight enough to avoid the beater hitting the bowl.
- When correctly positioned, the handle and pour spout should not touch the pedestal of the mixer. Please refer to the Owner's Manual for complete instructions on adjusting the Beater to Bowl clearance.
Attaching the glass bowl
To Attach Glass Bowl to Mixer
- Turn OFF, Stand Mixer.
- Unplug Stand Mixer.
- Align Glass Bowl and twist in place.
Tips for use
Remove the Thread Ring before using the Glass Bowl in a microwave oven. To avoid product damage, do not use the Glass Bowl in areas of high heat, such as an oven or on a stovetop.

Bowl and Thread Ring are dishwasher-safe top rack only.
